We take extra steps to keep our dental water lines free and clear of biofilm (a thin layer of organisms that can form in the small, flexible tubes inside the dental unit). 

We’ve put special valves in the dental units so we can introduce a non-toxic chemical into the tubing each weekend. Dental water lines treated this way have been tested to stay clean for two weeks – we treat ours WEEKLY to provide an extra margin of safety.
